Delhi Police invokes Section 120B of IPC in FIR filed in Amit Shah's fake video case
New Delhi [India], May 4 (ANI): The Delhi Police on Saturday summoned Segment 120B (criminal trick charges) of the Indian Punitive Code in the FIR documented regarding Association Home Clergyman Amit Shah's phony video case.
A court here on Saturday sent Arun Reddy, who handles the 'Soul of Congress' X record and was captured on Friday, to three-day police guardianship.
His cross examination is continuous. He won't be created under the steady gaze of Patiala House Court today, as he has previously been remanded to police guardianship, the police added.
In the doctored video, the Association Home Clergyman is purportedly heard saying that the BJP remains against the reservations in the country.
In any case, during his location at a public gathering in Congress-managed Telangana, Shah said, "On the off chance that the BJP structures the public authority here, we will pull out the illegal reservations to Muslims. We will guarantee that the SCs, STs and OBCs get quantities as ensured under the Constitution."
Prior, five Congress laborers were captured by the Telangana Police regarding Shah's phony video case.
"Five individuals including Telangana Virtual Entertainment Convenor Naveen and Taslima have been captured by the Digital Wrongdoing unit of Telangana police in light of an objection by Telangana BJP. Delhi Police has not captured them," Telangana Congress Media Convenor Kamal Medagoni said while addressing ANI on Thursday.
On Tuesday, the Knowledge Combination and Vital Tasks (IFSO) unit of Delhi Police gave request to 16 people across seven to eight states regarding the course of a 'doctored' video including Amit Shah.
The request were given under Segments 91 and 160 of the Criminal Strategy Code (CrPC), asking the people worried to join the examination and give applicable reports and electronic gadgets as proof.
As per police sources, those called remember six individuals from the decision Congress for Telangana, including Boss Pastor Revanth Reddy. They, alongwith different people from a few states, were approached to show up for addressing on May 1 at the IFSO unit in Delhi's Dwarka.
CrPC Segment 160 permits police to call an individual for examination, while Area 91 permits police to look for explicit records or contraptions to be introduced as proof.
The BJP's Telangana unit recorded a grumbling against the CM and the Congress' state boss, Revanth Reddy, at the Digital Wrongdoing police headquarters, blaming the party for creating and transforming the discourse of Amit Shah.
The objection expressed that the Telangana Congress Pradesh Congress Party, on its true X handle, posted a 'transformed' and 'created' video of Amit Shah. (ANI)
