One-third of Nifty 100 companies are recruiting thousands of young professionals through apna.co.
New Delhi [India], August 8: Thirty percent of Nifty 100 companies, including prominent names like Kotak, Cholamandalam, Titan, and Trent, are leveraging apna.co for their diverse recruitment needs, contributing significantly to their expanding base of paying customers. In the past year, apna.co has processed over 1,000 job applications daily for these firms. Notably, 50% of these applications were for positions in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sectors, while other growing sectors include Automotive, Retail, Consumer Durables, and Information Technology.

Non-metro cities accounted for 45% of the job applications from these regions, highlighting a growing talent pool in smaller cities. Furthermore, 35% of the job applications were submitted by women for roles such as Financial Consultant, Telesales Executive, HR Executive, Retail Relationship Manager, and Customer Care Executive, indicating a rise in female participation in securing roles at major corporations. This trend is consistent with the Periodic Labour Force Survey, which reported an increase in women’s workforce participation from 23.3% in 2017 to 37% in 2023.
Additionally, about 50% of young job seekers with 0-6 months of experience have shown strong interest in positions offered by Nifty companies.
