The RBI has appointed Aviral Jain as its new Executive Director.
New Delhi [India], October 4: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has appointed Aviral Jain as Executive Director (ED), effective October 1, 2024.
Before this promotion, Jain served as the Regional Director for Maharashtra.
With over thirty years of experience, Aviral Jain has expertise in supervision, currency management, foreign exchange regulation, and human resource management.
In his role as Executive Director, Jain will oversee the Legal Department, the Premises Department, and the Right to Information Act (First Appellate Authority).
Jain holds a postgraduate degree in economics and has certifications in AML/KYC and Capital Markets, in addition to being a Certified Associate of IIBF.
