Kajol and Kriti Sanon's suspense thriller 'Do Patti' announces its release date.

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], September 30: The highly anticipated thriller-drama 'Do Patti', starring Kajol and Kriti Sanon, now has an official release date.

Netflix announced that the murder mystery, directed by first-time filmmaker Shashanka Chaturvedi and written by Kanika Dhillon, will be available for streaming from October 25.

The release date was revealed with a 1-minute 32-second teaser, giving viewers a glimpse into the suspense-filled storyline.

Netflix shared the teaser on its X account with the caption, "Ab hoga khel shuru, lekin iss kahaani ke hai do pehlu. Do Patti releases on 25 October, only on Netflix." (The game will now begin, but this story has two sides. Do Patti releases on 25 October.)

The film is set in the fictional town of Devipur, Uttarakhand. Kajol portrays a determined police officer on a mission to uncover the truth behind an attempted murder case. Kriti Sanon, for the first time in her career, plays dual roles as twin sisters involved in the investigation, each holding secrets that heighten the drama.

The film also introduces Shaheer Sheikh in his big-screen debut, playing Dhruv Sood, a character caught in a web of love and intrigue. 'Do Patti' marks Kajol's second collaboration with Kriti after their previous film, 'Dilwale'.

The film is produced by Kanika Dhillon and Kriti Sanon.

Kajol is also set to appear in the action-thriller 'Maharani - Queen of Queens,' reuniting with Prabhudeva after 27 years. Directed by Charan Tej Uppalapati, the movie will be released in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.

Meanwhile, Kriti was last seen in 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' and 'Crew'.
