Pushkar Singh Dhami anticipates a significant victory for the BJP in the Haryana elections.
Kalanaur (Haryana), October 1: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, while speaking at a public gathering in Basana village, Kalanaur, on Tuesday, expressed confidence that the BJP will win by a large margin in Haryana.
At the rally in support of BJP candidate Renu Dabla, he urged the locals to ensure a decisive victory for the BJP. He noted that Haryana is set to endorse the public welfare policies of the double-engine government.
Dhami highlighted that the BJP government has created 1.5 lakh jobs in the state, providing significant employment opportunities to the youth.
"The BJP government in Haryana has offered employment to 1.5 lakh young people, all done with complete transparency, eliminating the old employment slip and expenditure system," he remarked.
He added, "With double the speed of prosperity and development, Haryana will once again elect a BJP government!"
Dhami criticized the Congress's approach to youth employment during its tenure.
"Many will recall that during Congress rule, the system of parchi-kharchi was prevalent, and deserving youth were deprived of job opportunities," Dhami said.
He also accused the Congress government of selling the land of the poor at low prices to industrialists and allowing atrocities against Dalits and women.
"During Congress rule, Haryana witnessed hooliganism, which the BJP has put an end to. The overwhelming support for the BJP at this public meeting clearly signals another BJP victory," he concluded.
Haryana will hold elections on October 5 to elect its 90-member state legislative assembly, with counting scheduled for October 8. In the 2019 elections, the BJP became the largest party with 40 seats, while Congress secured 30 seats.
