Matt Smith discusses the challenges he encountered while filming "House of the Dragon."

Washington, October 23: Actor Matt Smith, who portrays Daemon Targaryen in the "Game of Thrones" prequel series "House of the Dragon," shared his experiences working on the show and the challenges he faced, as reported by People.

During a panel at the New York Comic Con with his "House of the Dragon" co-stars Tom Glynn-Carney and Fabien Frankel, Smith noted that "the wigs are hard." Glynn-Carney, who plays Aegon, agreed, mentioning that "wigs, the bald caps, and the pins" posed significant challenges.

However, Smith revealed that while working on the set of "Caught Stealing," he learned some tips about wigs. "I’ve been talking to the makeup people there, asking, 'Is there a way around it?' And they said, 'There is.'"

Both seasons of "House of the Dragon" are available for streaming on Max.

Frankel mentioned that he is adopting a nearly bald look for "Caught Stealing," to which Smith responded, "Oh, I'm just gonna shave my head," and Frankel admitted, "That's what I did."

"I can't go through it again," Smith expressed. "I can't. It killed me. Sorry, these are champagne problems, aren't they?"

The actors also discussed the show's third season, with Smith noting that he has "not heard hide nor hair" about what to expect after the season 2 finale that aired on August 4, according to People.
