J-K: Arms, ammo and explosives recuperated by BSF in Kupwara
Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], June 13 In a huge activity, the Line Security Power (BSF) in Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir, effectively blocked a significant transhipment of arms, ammo, and explosives. Following up on unambiguous insight given by the BSF and substantiated by the Senior Director of Police (SSP) Kupwara, a joint designated spot was laid out at the Reddi Chowkibal market. The designated spot was monitored by work force from the BSF, the Military, and the Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP). During the pursuit activity, an overground specialist (OGW) named Shabir Ahmad, child of (Kupwara), was secured.
One gun, one gun magazine, 10 rounds, four hand projectiles, and two Ad libbed Touchy Gadgets (IEDs) were recuperated from Shabir Ahmad's ownership, the BSF said.
Solid sources have shown that the fear mongers were wanting to utilize these weapons and explosives to do assaults during the impending Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra in Srinagar and its encompassing regions.
