New Delhi [India], August 2: Goa, the picturesque Indian state, will once again host the world's most prestigious male pageant, the Rubaru Mr. India competition. This esteemed event will take place in August, with the national finals scheduled for August 7 at the Bogmallo Beach Resort. During this month, Goa will welcome 30 of India's most handsome, charismatic, and talented men for the 20th season of the Rubaru Mr. India competition. Alongside these exceptional candidates, numerous notable figures from the fashion and beauty pageant industries will converge in Goa to celebrate the pageant's 20th Anniversary. The name of India's most handsome man will be revealed at the culmination of the event on August 7, 2024. The Bogmallo Beach Resort will serve as the hospitality partner, hosting the event from August 4 to 7, 2024.
Celebrating nearly two decades of excellence, the Rubaru Mr. India competition stands as the largest and most respected male pageant globally, also holding a significant position in the international men's pageant sector. Following a comprehensive six-month period of nationwide registrations and auditions, 30 finalists have been chosen to compete in the national finals. Before the final event, the candidates will participate in various preliminary activities, including the formal wear round, health and fitness assessments, and personal interviews, to determine who will be crowned Mr. India.
For its 20th-anniversary celebrations, the Rubaru Mr. India organization has partnered with leading entertainment brands. Renowned celebrity fashion photographer Amit Khanna will return as the event's Official Photographer. Dapper & Dare by Vishal Thawani will be the Official Designer label, while esteemed grooming expert Dr. Rita Gangwani will be the Official Grooming Guru. Celebrated choreographer Karun Raman will serve as the Official Show Director, and former Rubaru Mr. India winner Songashim Rungsung will be the event's Fitness Guru.
The pageant proudly announces its esteemed partners for the anniversary celebrations. Mister International 2023 winner Kim Goodburn, along with India's Mister Global 2023 winner Jason Dylan Bretfelean and the 22nd Manhunt winner from Thailand, Kevin Dasom, will serve on the selection committee. This marks the first time in male pageantry history that all three Grand Slam winners will attend an event together.
The Rubaru Mr. India competition, known for producing the most international award winners in male pageantry, returns to Goa for the fourth time, having previously been hosted there in 2018, 2021, and 2023. Managing Director Pankaj Kharbanda expressed enthusiasm about the event, stating, "We are thrilled to return to Goa for the 20th anniversary of the competition.
