Silver Motors launches Nissan showroom in Pune Camp; marks milestone for Silver Jubilee Group
Pune: 7 April 2026 The Silver Jubilee Group on April 7, 2026 inaugurated its new Silver Motors – Nissan showroom at Pune Camp, marking a milestone in its journey in the automobile sector since 1935. The facility was inaugurated by Mr. Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, in the presence of Mr. Abhishek Arora and Mr. Vivek Palliwal, Directors, Nissan Motor India, along with Mr. Rakesh Negi and Mr. Mrunmay Gogoi.
Nissan, present in India since 1965, gained recognition when the Indian Army inducted the Nissan Patrol 60 (Jonga), establishing its reputation for reliability.
The Silver Jubilee Group, with a long-standing and consistent presence since 1935 in Pune Camp, through one of the early petrol pumps, automobile showrooms and service facilities, continues to expand its footprint. The project has been developed under the guidance of Mrs. Rajwardhini Sanjay Jagtap, Managing Director, Silver Motors Private Limited.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by several dignitaries including Hon. MLA Mr. Ravindra Chavan (State President, BJP Maharashtra), Mr. Rajesh Pandey (State General Secretary, Maharashtra), Former MLA Mr. Sanjay Jagtap (State Secretary, BJP Maharashtra), Former MP Mr. Ashokanna Mohol, Former MLA Mr. Sangramdada Thopate, Former MLA Mr. Diliprao Mohite, Hon. MLA Mr. Rameshappa Thorat, Former MLA Mr. Ashokrao Pawar, Former MLA Mr. Atul Benake and Hon. MLA Mr. Sunil Kamble, Mr. Samaraditya Sanjay Jagtap, Mr. Rajendra Patil.

The new facility is an integrated Nissan showroom and service station under one roof. The company also announced plans to expand across Pune city and district.
